Thus, the author does not in any way delimit Christianity or the Bible. However, the thing that I appreciated most about this book was the author's ability to direct in a clear coherent and sometimes quite entertaining way without preaching.

All of the references from various religious dogma were carefully selected to illustrate each particular point. The reader was then left to determine for his or herself the validity of that specific point for him or herself. This aspect starts the reader immediately questioning and really thinking about what is truly important in this existence.

An eye-opening interpretation of what Jesus actually taught, not the words that were put into his mouth or the terrible things people have done in his name. He taught love, the same as other great teachers, and I love how that is emphasized as the underlying message of his teachings. This book was slow for the first half, but really picked up later, consistently explaining things in a way that makes sense to me, speaking as someone who has an The reason I didn't give it five stars was only because it didn't blow me away the way Pensees and the Bhagavad Gita did.
