Sometimes, she works for us at big events, handing out pamphlets to attendees. She is truly dedicated to bringing this message to the world through the Jacque Mgido line. She now enhances the beauty of people all over the world.
Jacque Mgido aims at bringing amazing makeup and skin care products to the world, but also to connect with individuals to teach them application techniques and beauty secrets. She feels that education is a key component to her mission. Shop All. About the Brand. Well, it's actually not a lipstick, it's a lipstain. And it hails from Africa. From an array of different coloured lipstains, I chose a burgundy, brownish-red colour called Harare. But I didn't apply it right away. Instead, I watched other editors in the office swipe their chosen colours across their pouts and shriek in delight at the results.
All her products are made in the US, but she is currently in Zimbabwe setting up a manufacturing company. Her biggest challenge has been getting the product to the people. Mgido has also invested her hard-earned dollars in Zimbabwean communities, opening windows of opportunity for many young women. Her make-up academy in Harare is training young artists passionate about learning more about the beauty business.
